One of My Favorite Books

Wilfrid Gordon McDonald PartridgeThis is one of my favorite books to read to the children.  I tend to read it at the beginning of the year.

The story is about a young boy who lives next to a nursing home.  He is good friends with many of the people who reside there.  His best friend is Miss Nancy Alison Delacourt Cooper because she has four names like him.  In the story, Wilfred helps Miss Nancy find her "memory," by asking the others what a memory is.

  1. I love this book! I love anything by Mem Fox, actually! Your idea about sending it home is terrific! I will pass that along to my daughter and her brand new teaching job!

    1. Thank you for stopping over. This is truly one of my favorites! The children really love the activity also. It helps pull them out of their shell.
